The Inkfiller\u00ae system produced by I-Tech and distributed by Inter Ser has been installed for the first time in Brazil at the Cecafi group\u2019s facility in Serra Azul.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Inkfiller\u00ae<\/sup>, the automatic filling system for inks, materials and digital glues developed by\u00a0I-Tech<\/a>\u00a0and distributed worldwide by\u00a0Inter Ser<\/a>, has now arrived in Brazil.<\/span>\u00a0The first company in the country to adopt the system is\u00a0Cer\u00e2mica Carmelo Fior<\/a>\u00a0(Cecafi), a group that ranks as Brazil\u2019s largest tile manufacturer by volume and eighth worldwide with an output of 97 million square metres of tiles in 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

A group with more than thirty-five years of experience in the industry and five production units across Brazil, Carmelo Fior recently installed Inkfiller\u00ae at its Cer\u00e2mica Serra Azul facility.<\/span>\u00a0Just two months after commissioning, the company has confirmed its complete satisfaction with the system\u2019s performance and is already considering installing a second unit at another production site.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe system went into operation in the first week of September,\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em>explains\u00a0Guilherme Delfino Vieira<\/strong>, Maintenance Manager at the Serra Azul facility.<\/span>\u00a0\u201cInstallation was quick and straightforward, and maintenance is equally simple and intuitive.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The version installed at Cer\u00e2mica Serra Azul is Inkfiller Pro\u00ae, configured to feed three digital printers with four colours.<\/span>\u00a0The solution has eliminated the need for an operator, reduced errors and product waste and improved overall process efficiency, while also optimising ink maintenance and transport costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe system fully came up to our expectations,\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em>confirms Production Manager\u00a0Paulo Lacerda<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cIt was started up rapidly and operates without problems or line stoppages, which is crucial for our production process.<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>Moreover, the time operators can dedicate to production, quality control and other value-added activities has increased by more than 30%.<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>Inkfiller has had a very positive impact on operational efficiency, and we are already sharing this experience with other facilities owned by the group.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The installation at Carmelo Fior marks a strategic milestone for Inkfiller\u00ae in the South American market. With almost 200 installations worldwide, the system confirms its status as the benchmark technology for the automatic feeding of digital printers in the ceramic industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
